Yoga @ Bird classes consciously combine the practice of asanas with music. This is a fusion of rhythm and asana practice indulging yoga students to explore and safely open through movement and sound.

Each class has individually-designed music that complements the vinyasa (flow) each week. Awaken the heart with yoga and music. The styles of music used range from classical, jazz and acoustic instrumental to rock & roll, funk, punk, reggae, country, world beat, classic chants, hip hop and special live performances.

The word SVAHA comes from Sanskrit. The inner Self is called "Sva" and "Ha" means sacrifice. When you sacrifice your little ego-self, the Self comes out. Svaha yoga center means the place where you sacrifice your so-called egocentric self.Generally we always say, 'where have you been?' "I went to the market myself" we answer. This self that we refer to is only the physical or the mental or the intellectual self. In Indian English, in order to differentiate between the higher and the lower self, people use a capital S for the higher or the real Self and a small s for the lower self. To reach that higher Self you must sacrifice the lower self. That is what Svaha means.
